Dr. Jae K. Lee, Senior Scientist -
Dr. Jae K. Lee has over 20 years of experience in applications of state-of-the-art geospatial information systems (GIS), remote sensing and spatial modeling to a variety of complex infrastructure and resource management issues. During his professional career as a senior scientist, he has conducted and managed numerous large-scale projects, which employed quantitative remote sensing, GIS and spatial modeling for numerous infrastructure, information, and environmental management applications. He holds a BA in Geography Education from the Chongju University, South Korea, and both MA and Ph.D. degrees in Physical Geography from Indiana State University. Before co-founding Pangaea, Dr. Lee served as a consultant to The World Health Organization (Geneva, Switzerland), to Pronatura (Merida, Mexico), and many other private sector organizations. In the United States, Dr. Lee has managed numerous large-scale projects primarily for U.S. federal agencies.
