Miklós S. Ferenczy, President -
Mr. Ferenczy is an environmental engineer and geospatial information manager with over 16 years experience in developing and managing resource, homeland security and public health management programs and projects. Mr. Ferenczy has spent the majority of his career developing, implementing, and integrating geospatial information systems (GIS), remote sensing technologies, and spatial models to facilitate environmental, military land and public health monitoring and management. Mr. Ferenczy has served as the project director or manager for over 130 geospatial based projects during his tenure. He has used these geospatial tools to significantly expedite site characterization and environmental planning projects at locations throughout the U.S. and Europe. Prior to co-founding Pangaea, Mr. Ferenczy served as a Program Manager at Argonne National Laboratory. He also served as the GIS Administrator for the former North Central Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Mr. Ferenczy has twice served as a chairperson for the Joint European Conference on Geographic Information and is a recipient of the U.S. Army Medal of Achievement for implementing GIS within the former North Central Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
