Pangaea welcomes the addition of Cesar Meraz to our staff as an application developer. Mr. Meraz consulted on numerous projects including healthcare, energy, transportation, and animal research. Mr. Meraz served as technical lead on Dell Inc.’s FMPro application redesign (Dell’s custom order fulfillment, receiving, and routing application). Mr. Meraz has employed Web 2.0 technologies including AJAX, Atlas, and Flex2. Before developing enterprise solutions using certifications in Java and .NET, Mr. Meraz designed and maintained web sites at the Texas Association of School Boards. Mr. Meraz holds a B.A. from Indiana University at Bloomington and an M.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
CEC
Pangaea was awarded a contract to develop a Needs Assessment for the Commission for Environmental Cooperation (CEC). The report focuses on improving processes related to the North American Pollutant Releases and Transfers Registers (PRTR) Project. The CEC has established data and related processes to examine information pertaining to the amounts, sources, and management of toxic chemicals within North America. The PRTR is a key project within the CEC’s efforts to improve the availability and quality of environmental information. The final report was not limited to data management. This report also provides clarification of needs which relate to general program and organizational improvement potential.
