Pangaea awarded U.S. Army Range Complex Master Planning Tool Development Contract

The Parsons and Pangaea team were awarded a contract to develop the next version of the Range Complex Master Planning Tool (RCMP-T) for the U.S. Army under the Parsons U.S. Army Training Support Systems (TSS) contract.

The RCMP-T is a web based enterprise application that serves the Sustainable Range Program (SRP) community by providing installations a capability of developing, staffing, and publishing a comprehensive Range Complex Master Plan (RCMP) for their respective installations and/or areas of responsibility. An RCMP is a requirement of AR 350-19, The Sustainable Range Program. The RCMP is a detailed master plan for an installation and/or area of responsibility covering current and projected live fire and non-live ranges, special training facilities, training areas, and the infrastructure required to support SRP planning efforts.

2013 Emergency Preparedness Fair 9/26/2013

Pangaea will be showcasing the Pediatric Hazard Vulnerability Analysis System at the Emergency Preparedness Fair. The Chicago Healthcare System Coalition for Preparedness and Response (CHSCPR) and Northwestern Memorial Hospital (NMH) will be hosting an Emergency Preparedness Fair at NMH on Thursday, September 26, 2013 from 7:30 am – 6:00 pm.   The purpose of the CHSCPR is to develop plans to unify, coordinate and manage emergency planning and response for the healthcare system within the City of Chicago. During a planned event or unplanned disaster or emergency, the CHSCPR participates and supports response efforts in coordination with the Chicago Department of Public Health [CDPH]. The mission of the CHSCPR is to unify the coordination of the Chicago healthcare system to a level that will be necessary if operations move from conventional to contingency to crisis care. 

The fair is a comprehensive showcase of the Chicago Healthcare System Coalition for Preparedness and Response and its Partners’ preparedness capabilities, including educational offerings on medical surge, volunteer management, patient tracking, communication technology and much, much more. We anticipate that this event will draw 1000 + attendees.

Pangaea awarded Regional Transportation Data Archive and animation utility support project from CMAP

Pangaea Information Technologies, Ltd was awarded a contract from the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) to provide ongoing support and technical services for the Regional Transportation Data Archive (RTDA) system and the associated animation utility program.  The services include database development and programming.  The Animation Utility Program is a prototype application containing northeastern Illinois highway data used to develop an animation of speeds and volumes using road sensor information. The Regional Transportation Data Archive is a real time archive that collects data from intelligent transportation system (ITS) equipment used for both agency level research, planning, operations activities as well as by the public for real time travel planning.
